Meet Julie Logan
Julie Logan, Master of Early Childhood Education, Australian Kodaly Certificate, B.Ed (Primary Music), Dip Teach (Special Education), is a specialist in early childhood music education. She has extensive experience in designing and implementing music programs for Babies-12 years children’s programs, early intervention services, primary schools, and the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music.

In addition to her work with children from birth to 13 years, Julie trains teachers for the nationally accredited Australian Kodaly Certificate course held in Sydney and has also taught Creative Arts to Bachelor of Early Childhood Education students at the University of Newcastle as well as conducting professional development courses and workshops endorsed by the NSW Institute of Teachers.

Julie has been invited to present papers and workshops at national and international conferences in both Early Childhood Music and Special Education. Her published papers are available in the Proceedings of the XXIII Annual Conference of the Australian Association for Research in Music Education, 2001, the XVI International Kodály Symposium , 2003 and Australian Journal of Music Education (online), 2009.

Her book, Jingle Jive Music from 0-5, is a popular resource with both parents and early childhood teachers.
Julie is a nationally accredited lecturer in Early Childhood and Primary pedagogy with Kodály Australia.
She has been accredited to teach the do-re-mi music for children program.
Her professional affiliations include Coordinating Teacher Training and Past President of Kodaly NSW, National Do-Re-Mi Co-ordinator and serving on the Kodály Australia National Council and Education Committee.
